Northumberland Coast

Creative Coastal Connections, has been produced by North East arts organisation Gem Arts and facilitated by lead artist Benji Spence, in collaboration with the Northumberland Coast National Landscape. 

Three culturally diverse community groups have been invited to experience the protected landscape and be involved in participatory workshops led by Benji, with the support of three emerging artists from the global majority.   The final piece created by Benji will reflect participants’ perception of nature and the Northumberland Coast through art and be presented later in the season.
