INSTAR - Lincolnshire Wolds - Artists

A circular stone wall with a gap at one side. The inside of the circle is a paler colour than the outside. It is big enough for maybe 6 people to walk into. It stands in a green field overlooking a vista miles into the distance with imposing dark grey clouds in a pale orange sky.

Sightlines

INSTAR, artists Trish Evans and Nick Humphreys, create contemporary site-specific public/visual art, literature and cutting-edge cultural programmes. Their multidisciplinary artwork creates deeper connections to the natural world and is often located unconventionally in wild and urban spaces across the UK.

Artist Statement

Sightlines, is a vibrant and evocative multidisciplinary project, producing contemporary printworks and visual temporary sculptures in response to the unique Lincolnshire Wolds landscape. As artists we are thrilled to be taking a deep creative dive into the wildness of ‘the Wolds’, collaborating with many along our journey, unlocking a new, powerful visual language and voice.

INSTAR will be working with producers Magna Vitae.
